Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ETP Operator to operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), ensure effective wastewater treatment, maintain treated water quality, and support environmental compliance as per company standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor daily ETP activities to ensure smooth plant functioning.
- Monitor wastewater treatment processes, chemical dosing, and flow rates.
- Check and record pH, TDS, COD, BOD, and other relevant water quality parameters as required.
- Prepare and dose treatment chemicals as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor pumps, motors, agitators, pipelines, and other ETP equipment.
- Identify operational abnormalities and troubleshoot routine plant issues.
- Maintain daily logbooks, operating records, chemical consumption records, and water analysis reports.
- Collect wastewater and treated water samples for testing and analysis.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of treatment chemicals.




- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, housekeeping standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Coordinate with the ETP supervisor and maintenance team for preventive maintenance and breakdown resolution.
- Support sludge handling, dewatering, and disposal activities as per approved procedures.
- Ensure treated effluent meets prescribed discharge or reuse standards.

Required Skills

- Practical knowledge of ETP operations and wastewater treatment processes.
- Basic understanding of water quality testing and chemical dosing.
- Ability to operate pumps, motors, and related plant equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and chemical handling.
- Basic computer skills and recordkeeping abilities.
- Good observation, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in ETP operations, preferably in a manufacturing, food processing, chemical, or similar industry.
- ITI, Diploma, or another relevant technical qualification.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
- Ability to follow SOPs, safety instructions, and environmental compliance requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
