Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Supervisor who can monitor quality during different stages of technical textile manufacturing and ensure that finished products meet defined specifications and quality standards. The role requires regular coordination with production and quality teams, shop-floor inspections, identification of defects and proper maintenance of quality records.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor quality of raw materials, work-in-process and finished products.

Conduct regular shop-floor inspections during production.

Check fabric parameters such as GSM, width, shade, appearance, knitting defects and physical properties as per specifications.

Ensure products are manufactured according to approved quality standards and customer requirements.

Identify fabric and production defects and coordinate with the Production team for corrective action.

Monitor quality during processes such as extrusion, warping, knitting, heat stabilization and fabrication, wherever applicable.

Perform or coordinate required quality tests and maintain test records.

Ensure proper segregation and identification of rejected or non-conforming material.





Prepare daily quality inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.

Assist in root-cause analysis for recurring quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions.

Coordinate with Quality Lab and Production teams for timely testing and release of material.

Ensure housekeeping and quality discipline within the assigned area.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Polymer Technology or related technical discipline.

Experience

2–4 years of relevant experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in technical textiles, HDPE / PP woven or knitted products, Raschel knitting, shade nets / fencing nets, synthetic fabrics, polymer or textile manufacturing.

Required Skills

Good understanding of textile/fabric quality inspection.

Knowledge of GSM, width, shade and basic fabric testing.

Ability to identify knitting, extrusion and fabric-related defects.

Basic knowledge of quality documentation and reporting.

Understanding of root-cause identification and corrective actions.

Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.

Ability to coordinate effectively with production operators and supervisors.

Good observation and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work on the manufacturing shop floor and in shifts, if required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who have practical shop-floor quality experience rather than only theoretical or documentation-based exposure. Experience in technical textiles, Raschel knitted fabrics, HDPE nets, shade nets, woven/knitted plastics or similar manufacturing industries will be highly preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
