Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Lab Executive / Technician who will be responsible for conducting routine physical and material testing of raw materials, fabric and finished products and maintaining accurate laboratory records. The candidate should have practical knowledge of textile or polymer testing and should be comfortable working with laboratory testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine testing of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products.

Perform tests related to technical textile fabrics as per specified procedures.

Check and record parameters such as GSM, fabric width, tensile strength, bursting strength, shade / visual appearance, Melt Flow Index (MFI), heat resistance / Hot Air Oven testing and other required physical or performance parameters.

Prepare and maintain laboratory test reports and records.

Ensure timely testing and communicate results to Quality and Production teams.

Identify test results that are outside specifications and immediately inform the concerned supervisor.

Maintain proper sample identification and traceability.





Maintain laboratory equipment in good working condition and follow calibration schedules.

Ensure testing is carried out according to defined SOPs and specifications.

Maintain cleanliness, safety and proper housekeeping within the laboratory.

Support investigations and comparative testing in case of customer complaints or production quality issues.

Assist Quality and R&D; teams during new product or material trials.

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Polymer Technology or related technical discipline.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant laboratory or quality testing experience in technical textiles, textile testing laboratories, HDPE / PP products, polymer manufacturing, synthetic fabrics, woven / knitted fabrics, shade nets or related products.

Required Skills

Practical knowledge of textile or polymer testing procedures.

Understanding of GSM, tensile strength and bursting strength testing.

Basic knowledge of MFI and other polymer-related tests will be an advantage.

Ability to operate basic laboratory instruments and testing equipment.

Good numerical and observation skills.

Ability to accurately record and report test results.

Basic understanding of calibration and laboratory documentation.

Basic MS Excel and computer skills.

Attention to detail and disciplined approach towards testing procedures.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates should have hands-on laboratory exposure and should be comfortable performing tests independently. Candidates from technical textile, polymer, HDPE/PP, textile testing, woven/knitted fabric or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
