Role overview

We are looking for a CFO / Head of Finance to lead our finance function and help shape the next stage of growth. You will be a key member of the leadership team, owning financial strategy, funding, board reporting and governance, while building a finance team that supports every part of the business.

Key responsibilities

Strategy and leadership

- Shape the company's financial strategy and long-term plan with the CEO and leadership team.
- Evaluate growth options, including new stores, channels, acquisitions and partnerships.
- Act as a trusted adviser on pricing, margin, cost and investment decisions.

Board, shareholder and lender reporting

- Prepare explicit monthly and quarterly board packs with insight and recommendations.
- Manage relationships with shareholders, investors, banks and other lenders.
- Ensure banking covenants and lender reporting are met on time.

Funding, cash and treasury

- Own cash management, working capital and treasury.
- Lead fundraising, refinancing and debt negotiations as needed.
- Set and monitor capital allocation and investment return targets.

Planning and performance

- Oversee the annual budget, reforecasts and the multi-year financial plan.
- Set the KPI framework and hold the business to account on performance.

Governance, risk and tax

- Make sure statutory accounts,



audit and Companies House filings are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Own the risk register, internal controls and insurance programme.
- Set tax strategy with advisers and oversee VAT, PAYE and corporation tax compliance.

Systems and team

- Lead investment in finance systems, data and reporting tools.
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Oversee related functions such as payroll and [legal, IT or procurement, if relevant].

Qualifications and experience

Essential

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- [10+] years' post-qualification experience, including at least [3] years as a Finance Director, CFO or Head of Finance.
- Track record of board reporting and working with investors, banks or lenders.
- Experience leading budgets, long-term planning and capital allocation.
- Experience building and leading a finance team.

Desirable

- Experience in multi-site retail, e-commerce or consumer goods.
- Experience of fundraising, refinancing, acquisitions or a sale process.
- Experience in a private equity-backed or fast-growing business.
- Experience leading a finance systems implementation.

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per month

Experience:

- UK Accounting Audit: 5 years (Required)
