Job Description – Captain (Food & Beverage)

Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and energetic Captain to manage daily floor operations, ensure excellent guest service, and coordinate with the service team to deliver a smooth dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Manage table allocation, reservations, and guest seating.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
- Supervise stewards and floor members during service operations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams for smooth service.
- Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and adherence to service standards.
- Monitor service quality and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist with billing, upselling, and achieving restaurant sales targets.




- Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and team training.

Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in F&B; service, preferably in a fine-dining or premium restaurant.
- Good communication and guest-handling skills.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Professional appearance and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in premium dining, casual dining, or luxury hospitality brands will be preferred.
