Job Title: Senior Lead Valve Service Technician

Location: Chennai
Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹60,000 per month (negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Valve Service Technician with strong local Indian industrial experience and existing contacts in plants/industries. The candidate will handle valve servicing, lead a team, and actively support business development by generating service leads.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Valve Service & Maintenance:

- Perform inspection, servicing, repair, and testing of industrial valves (control valves, safety valves, gate valves, globe valves, ball valves, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve valve-related issues at the site.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

2. Team Leadership & Training:

- Lead, supervise, and guide a team of technicians
- Provide hands-on training and technical support
- Plan and allocate work for smooth execution

3. Client Handling & Site Coordination:

- Coordinate with plant engineers and maintenance teams
- Handle site work, shutdown jobs, and emergency service calls
- Maintain strong client relationships

4. Business Development / Marketing:

- Promote company valve service to industries and plants
- Utilize existing industry contacts to generate new business leads
- Identify opportunities and follow up with clients for service requirements

5. Reporting & Documentation:

- Prepare service reports and job completion reports
- Maintain records of work and client interactions




- Submit regular updates to management

Requirements:

- Diploma / ITI / Engineering in Mechanical or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in valve servicing (India-based experience mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of industrial valves and maintenance practices
- Proven experience in handling site work and team leadership
- Existing contacts/network with plants, industries, or maintenance teams is highly preferred
- Positive communication skills (Tamil & English preferred)
- Basic MS Office knowledge

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Experience in oil & gas, power plants, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries
- Ability to bring business leads through personal networks
- Strong leadership and training capability

Other Requirements:

- Willing to travel for site work across Tamil Nadu / India
- Immediate joiners preferred

Key Advantage:
