Candidates with hands-on experience in the food or feed manufacturing, processing, or production industry will be strongly preferred. Experience in plant operations, production management, quality control, and industrial manufacturing is essential.

Job Summary

Jital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Plant Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end plant operations at our facility in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, quality assurance, manpower management, plant maintenance, workplace safety, statutory compliance, inventory management, and operational cost control.

Candidates with relevant food/feed manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of production processes, plant efficiency, and quality standards will have an advantage.

Key Responsibilities1. Production & Plant Operations

- Plan, manage, and monitor daily plant operations to achieve production targets.
- Optimize production capacity, minimize downtime, and reduce wastage and rejection rates.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure raw material availability and inventory control.
- Ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations.
- Monitor production performance and implement process improvements.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, SOPs, and food/feed safety requirements.




- Maintain compliance with relevant statutory regulations, factory rules, labor laws, and pollution control norms.
- Maintain documentation and records for internal, statutory, and customer audits.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain product consistency and safety.

3. Manpower & Team Management

- Lead and supervise plant staff, production supervisors, and shop-floor workers.
- Manage shift scheduling, attendance, and workforce planning in coordination with HR.
- Conduct employee training and support skill development and performance improvement.
- Monitor employee productivity and ensure adherence to operational procedures.

4. Maintenance & Workplace Safety

- Ensure preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize breakdowns.
- Monitor the productive utilization of power, water, and other plant utilities.
- Implement workplace health and safety procedures and maintain appropriate hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment and operational issues.

5. Cost Control & Reporting

- Monitor plant operating expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Control production costs, material consumption, and operational wastage.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering production, quality, efficiency,



and operational performance.
- Coordinate with HR and management on employee KPIs, KRAs, and performance monitoring.

Eligibility CriteriaEducation

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or Food Technology.
- Alternatively, a Diploma in a relevant engineering or technical discipline with suitable industry experience.

Experience

- 6–10 years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing.
- 2–3 years of food/feed processing or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
