- Lead aerospace NPD and engineering projects from initial concept and requirements through design, qualification, production release, and project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, and key milestones; track progress and corrective actions through completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, operations, and customer or regulatory stakeholders.
- Translate customer, regulatory, and business requirements into transparent technical scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and verification plans.
- Manage design reviews, risk assessments, configuration control, and engineering changes in line with aerospace quality and certification requirements.
- Oversee design-for-manufacturability, tooling, process development, and production readiness to ensure the product can be built safely, consistently, and efficiently.
- Coordinate prototype builds, testing, qualification,



and validation activities; resolve technical issues and ensure evidence and approvals are complete.
- Monitor project cost, schedule, quality, and risk; communicate status, escalate issues, and lead recovery plans when targets are at risk.
- Ensure required documentation, traceability, approvals, and handover packages are complete for production launch and customer or regulatory acceptance.
- Drive project completion and lessons learned, confirming deliverables are accepted, resources are released, and actions for continuous improvement are captured.
