Job Description

Ecopmin Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and industrial automation.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience in SPM machine design, 3D modelling, mechanical design, and machine development. If you have experience designing and developing customized industrial machines, we invite you to join our engineering team in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) based on customer requirements.
- Create 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Perform mechanical design calculations, component selection, and machine layout development.
- Work with servo motors, gearboxes, ball screws, linear guides, and pneumatic systems.
- Coordinate with electrical design, PLC, application, and manufacturing teams.
- Support machine fabrication, assembly, testing, and commissioning.




- Troubleshoot mechanical design and manufacturing issues.
- Ensure machine performance, quality, and safety standards.

Requirements

- 3 - 8 years of experience in mechanical design and machine development.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience designing Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
- Strong knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D mechanical drawings.
- Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, servo mechanisms, linear motion systems, and mechanical components.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T;, and BOM preparation.
- Experience supporting machine assembly, testing, and commissioning.
