Job Summary

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-oriented Service Engineer to handle the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Kirloskar air compressors. The candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and maintain Kirloskar air screw and reciprocating compressors at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and scheduled servicing of compressors.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults and carry out necessary troubleshooting.
- Attend customer service calls and resolve equipment breakdowns within the required turnaround time.
- Inspect compressor performance, operating pressure, temperature, lubrication, and other critical parameters.
- Identify faulty components and recommend suitable repairs or replacement of spare parts.
- Provide technical support, maintenance guidance, and operational training to customers.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records, inspection checklists, and customer feedback.




- Coordinate with the service team, suppliers, and principals for technical assistance and spare parts.
- Support warranty claims, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), and after-sales service activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and manufacturer-recommended service standards.
- Travel to industrial customer locations across Odisha as required.

Educational Qualifications

- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- ITI in Mechanical or relevant technical trades may be considered for candidates with strong hands-on experience.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Practical knowledge of industrial air compressors, particularly screw and reciprocating compressors.
- Understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, lubrication, and compressor components.
- Troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals, equipment drawings, and maintenance instructions.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a service-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industrial plants.
- Proficiency in preparing service reports and maintaining technical documentation.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in servicing, repairing, installing, or commissioning industrial air compressors.
- Experience with Kirloskar Pneumatic compressors will be an advantage.
- Exposure to industrial maintenance, plant operations, or after-sales technical support.
- Experience working with steel plants, power plants, cement plants, aluminium industries, or mining companies will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
