Role Description The University Vertical Partner is a volunteer, remote role focused on strengthening FutureCaptains engagement with universities and higher education institutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with university administrators, faculty, and student bodies, and coordinating outreach activities such as webinars, workshops, and information sessions. The role involves identifying collaboration opportunities, sharing FutureCaptains programs and resources with campus stakeholders, and gathering feedback to improve offerings for students.



The University Vertical Partner may also support content creation for university communication channels and help organize virtual events that promote career guidance and mentorship. This role is ideal for individuals who want to contribute to student success while working flexibly and remotely.
Qualifications

- Robust relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage university staff, faculty, and students.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, including experience in conducting virtual meetings, workshops, or seminars.
- Organizational and coordination skills to manage outreach activities, events, and follow-ups across multiple institutions.
- Basic digital literacy, including comfort using online collaboration tools, video conferencing platforms, and social media for outreach.
- Background or interest in education, career counseling, student development, or community engagement is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating reliability, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to equitable, inclusive support for diverse student populations and a genuine interest in helping individuals make better career decisions.
