Role Description The Killin Operator is a full-time, on-site role located at the cement manufacturing plant in Mattampally. The role involves monitoring kiln operations, including temperature, feed rates, and combustion conditions to ensure stable clinker production and product quality. The Killin Operator will adjust process parameters, inspect equipment, coordinate with maintenance teams, and report any abnormalities or breakdowns to supervisors. Daily responsibilities include maintaining logs, following standard operating procedures, adhering to safety and environmental guidelines,



and supporting production targets. The role also requires working in shifts, collaborating with control room and field teams, and participating in routine inspections and housekeeping activities in kiln-related areas.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of kiln operation, clinker formation process, and basic cement manufacturing principles.
- Ability to monitor instruments, control panels, and process parameters, and take timely corrective actions.
- Understanding of safety protocols, use of personal protective equipment, and safe work practices in heavy industry.
- Basic mechanical and electrical awareness to identify equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, follow written instructions, and communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
- Prior experience in cement plant operations or similar process industry is preferred.
- Minimum ITI/Diploma in a relevant trade (Mechanical, Electrical, or Process) or equivalent industrial training.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts and in a plant environment, including kiln and high-temperature areas.
