Job Description: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 / D365 F&O; Technical Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Technical Consultant with strong hands-on technical expertise in AX 2012 and working exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;). The ideal candidate should have proven experience in AX 2012 customizations, integrations, and upgrade/migration projects from AX 2012 to D365 F&O.; The role also requires knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, application lifecycle management, and coordination with functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 applications based on business requirements.
- Develop current features and modify existing functionalities using X++, AOT, MorphX, Visual Studio, and AX development tools.




- Participate in end-to-end upgrade and migration projects from AX 2012 to D365 F&O;, including technical assessments, custom code migration, and compatibility analysis.
- Develop and maintain integrations between AX 2012 and external applications using AIF, web services, and middleware solutions.
- Work with the Data Import/Export Framework (DIXF) for data import, export, and migration activities.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports, AX security configurations, and related technical components.
- Implement and support enhancements, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Work with Microsoft Power Platform to support business automation and integration requirements.
- Use Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps
