Role Description The Accountant (GST & Payroll) is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for managing end-to-end payroll and GST-related accounting activities. Daily tasks include preparing and processing payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, and statutory contributions, and maintaining payroll records. The role involves handling GST entries, reconciliations, returns filing, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and timelines. The accountant will use accounting software to manage transactions, generate reports, and support audits, while coordinating with HR and management on employment contracts, employee data,



and compliance documentation. The role also includes responding to payroll and GST queries, resolving discrepancies, and contributing to process improvements.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Payroll Management and Payroll Services, including handling salary structures, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Accounting Software usage and Payroll Taxes, with the ability to manage digital records and comply with tax regulations.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Employment Contracts, including understanding terms of employment, benefits, and statutory obligations.
- Solid knowledge of GST regulations, returns filing, and tax reconciliations, preferably with experience in the Indian regulatory environment.
- Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; skilled certifications in accounting or taxation are an advantage.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
