Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Service Now SPO Developer with strong hands-on experience in Service Now platform development, configuration, workflow automation, and integrations.

The consultant will be responsible for developing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting Service Now solutions, particularly within the SPO area, while working closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, and maintain Service Now platform applications and functionalities.

- Support development and customization activities related to Service Now SPO requirements.

- Design and implement workflows, business rules, and platform automation.

- Develop and maintain Service Now scripts, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes.

- Work with Service Now Flow Designer to automate business processes and approvals.

- Support integration of Service Now applications with external systems using APIs and integration tools.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical defects and platform-related issues.

- Implement enhancements and change requests based on business requirements.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and solution architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.

- Maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.





- Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow Service Now development best practices.

Requirements Required Skills & Experience

- 5–8 years of total and relevant Service Now development experience.

- Hands-on experience in Service Now platform development and configuration.

- Experience working with Service Now SPO-related functionalities or requirements.

- Strong knowledge of Java Script and Service Now scripting.

- Experience developing Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Policies.

- Practical experience with Service Now Flow Designer and workflow automation.

- Understanding of Service Now integrations using REST APIs and related integration approaches.

- Experience with Service Now platform customization, enhancements, and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of Service Now application development, testing, and deployment.

- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Valuable communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Service Now Integration Hub.

- Familiarity with Service Now ITSM and related platform modules.

- Exposure to Service Now application architecture and development best practices.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Knowledge of Service Now security, roles, and access controls.
