Job Description: Medical Coder – Ambulatory Surgery / Anesthesia

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder to review medical records and accurately assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for ambulatory surgery and anesthesia services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review operative reports, anesthesia records, and clinical documentation.

- Assign accurate procedure, diagnosis, and anesthesia codes as per coding guidelines.

- Ensure compliance with payer policies and regulatory requirements.

- Identify documentation gaps and resolve coding discrepancies.

- Maintain coding accuracy, productivity, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

- Certification such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent preferred.

- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and anesthesia coding guidelines.

- Experience in ambulatory surgery or anesthesia coding preferred.
