Job Title: Civil Engineering Manager – Construction Projects

Location: Noida

Qualification: B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering (M. Tech preferred)

Salary: ₹6-12 LPA (Negotiable for deserving candidates)

Experience:

- 4-15 years of relevant experience, including site execution and managerial responsibilities.
- Prior experience in managing civil construction projects independently.
- Experience in real estate, residential or commercial construction, industrial projects, infrastructure development, or construction/PMC firms will be preferred.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Civil Engineering Manager – Construction Projects to plan, manage, and execute civil construction activities across projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on site experience, and proven leadership skills to manage project teams, contractors, quality, safety, budgets, and timelines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution:

- Plan, schedule, and execute civil construction activities as per project specifications and approved drawings.
- Manage end-to-end civil works, including excavation, RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, finishing, and external development.
- Review technical drawings, designs, BOQs, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within approved budgets and schedules.

2. Team & Contractor Management:

- Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and construction teams.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor performance, manpower deployment, and productivity.
- Resolve site-related technical issues and ensure smooth execution of work.

3. Quality Control & Safety:

- Implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures.




- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and material specifications.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Identify construction defects and implement corrective and preventive measures.

4. Budget & Cost Management:

- Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project expenditure, material consumption, and cost variations.
- Review contractor bills, measurement sheets, and material procurement requests.
- Implement cost-control measures and minimize material wastage.

5. Coordination & Reporting:

- Coordinate with MEP teams, architects, structural consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
- Maintain daily progress reports (DPRs), site records, measurement books, and MIS reports.
- Track project milestones and report progress, risks, and challenges to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Robust knowledge of civil construction methods, RCC works, structural drawings, and finishing activities.
- Experience in project planning, execution, and site management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Project or Primavera.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, BOQs, estimation, billing, and cost control.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities, contractors, and project deadlines.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, local regulations, and construction safety standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

- B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering; M. Tech will be an added advantage.
- 4-15 years of relevant experience, including site execution and managerial responsibilities.
- Prior experience in managing civil construction projects independently.
