Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated, empathetic, and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team at Sector 85, Faridabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students and parents in understanding our educational programs, identifying suitable learning opportunities, and making informed academic decisions.

The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a qualified approach to counselling, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, student development, and helping learners explore opportunities in STEM, AI, robotics, and coding.

Please note: This is a full-time, work-from-office position based in Sector 85, Faridabad.

Key Responsibilities

- Student Counselling: Provide personalized academic guidance to students based on their interests, abilities, learning needs, and educational goals.
- Parent Interaction: Communicate with parents and guardians to explain available programs, address queries, and help them understand the benefits of technology-driven education.
- Course Guidance: Recommend suitable courses and learning programs in STEM, robotics, artificial intelligence, coding, and other relevant areas.




- Enquiry Management: Handle incoming student and parent enquiries, follow up with prospective learners, and maintain clear communication throughout the counselling process.
- Student Engagement: Build positive relationships with students, encourage participation in educational programs, and support their learning journey.
- Academic Planning: Help students identify their strengths, establish realistic academic goals, and explore relevant educational and career pathways.
- Workshops and Seminars: Assist in organizing counselling sessions, educational workshops, orientation programs, and information sessions for students and parents.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, enquiries, counselling sessions, follow-ups, and enrolment-related information.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with teachers, trainers, admissions teams, and program managers to ensure a smooth student experience.
- Follow-Up and Support: Regularly follow up with interested students and parents, respond to questions, and provide timely information about courses and programs.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on educational trends, emerging technologies, and career opportunities to provide relevant guidance to learners.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain educational programs clearly and confidently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with students and parents.
- A student-centric attitude with a genuine interest in education, counselling, and career development.
- Good organizational skills,



attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups.
- Basic proficiency in computers, email, spreadsheets, documentation, and other digital tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a patient, approachable, and professional attitude.
- Ability to handle student information responsibly and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in academic counselling, educational counselling, admissions counselling, student support, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Experience interacting with parents and students in schools, colleges, coaching institutes, or EdTech organizations is desirable.
- Familiarity with STEM education, robotics, coding, AI programs, or technology-based learning is an added advantage.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong interest in education may also apply.
