JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Junior Architect

Location:
Bangalore Reports to: Principal Architect JOB OVERVIEW We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect with 1–3 years of professional experience to join our team at Ayatana Studios. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in architectural design, proficiency in drafting and modelling software, and a keen interest in developing creative and practical design solutions. The candidate will work closely with senior architects and cross-functional teams throughout various stages of project development, contributing to design concepts, drawings, presentations, and project documentation while gaining further experience in a collaborative, design-driven setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Support
• Assist senior architects in developing architectural design concepts, drawings, and presentations.
• Contribute creative ideas and practical design solutions during design discussions.
• Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and project coordination meetings. Drafting and Documentation
• Prepare and modify architectural drawings, 3D models, and visualisations under the guidance of senior architects.
• Use design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp for drafting and modelling.
• Assist in preparing presentation boards, working drawings, and project documentation packages.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency,



and attention to detail in all drawings and design deliverables. Research and Development
• Conduct research on materials, design precedents, building codes, and site conditions.
• Stay updated on architectural trends, design tools, and sustainable design practices.
• Apply feedback from senior architects to improve design quality and technical skills. Team Collaboration
• Coordinate with architects, designers, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Participate in team meetings and site visits as required.
• Document meeting discussions, design updates, and project progress. Professional Development
• Take initiative in developing technical and design skills.
• Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
• Incorporate constructive feedback and contribute to continuous improvement within the team. QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and spatial thinking.
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing project requirements.
• A portfolio showcasing academic and professional projects, design aptitude, and creative thinking.
