Company Description Tech Fire Engineering Consultancy provides specialized design services for Fire and Life Safety systems across diverse industries, including oil and gas, transport, public assembly, and commercial sectors. Role Description This is a full-time, office-based role located in Kochi focused on supporting the preparation of Fire and Life Safety (FLS) concept designs, schematic layouts, and foundational documentation. The day-to-day focus centers on drafting life safety strategy drawings, calculating occupant loads, plotting travel distances, and detailing fire compartmentation and exit separation based on base architectural layouts. Working under the guidance of Senior Designers, the FLS Designer will produce clean, coordinated design packages while applying international and regional GCC building codes.



All tasks are performed entirely within the design office environment (no site visits or field supervision required). Qualifications
• Ability to design Fire and Life Safety systems, including layout preparation, basic hydraulic or system calculations, and interpretation of engineering inputs.
• Familiarity with applicable fire protection and building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, local fire safety regulations).
• Proficiency in design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD or similar software; experience with BIM tools (e.g., Revit) is an advantage.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in technical documentation and drawings.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Diploma or degree in fire engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field; relevant certification in fire safety design is a plus.
• Prior experience in Fire and Life Safety design for industrial, commercial, or public assembly projects is preferred.
