Job description
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Platform SME specializing in monitoring and observability to manage Azure cloud infrastructure and design enterprise-scale monitoring solutions. The role involves ensuring platform reliability, security, and performance across cloud services, applications, databases, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Azure monitoring tools, KQL, Prometheus, Grafana, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, virtual networks, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Key Vault, and Azure Firewall.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale monitoring and observability solutions across Azure services and applications.
• Configure and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for infrastructure and application monitoring.
• Write and optimize Kusto Query Language (KQL) queries for log analysis, troubleshooting, alerting, and performance monitoring.
• Implement Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring Kubernetes clusters, AKS workloads, and containerized applications.
• Develop dashboards, configure alerts, and establish monitoring standards to improve platform visibility.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring configurations using Terraform,



ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and database performance issues using logs, metrics, and traces.
• Support incident management, root cause analysis, and proactive identification of reliability and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, application, and database teams to improve platform availability, security, and operational efficiency. Must-Have Skills
• Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with VMs, VNet, NSG, Key Vault, and Azure Firewall.
• Azure Monitoring: Strong experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• KQL (Kusto Query Language): Ability to write queries for log analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Prometheus and Grafana: Experience monitoring AKS clusters, Kubernetes workloads, and containers.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for provisioning and automation. Candidate Requirements
• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• Robust hands-on experience in Azure cloud platform management and monitoring.
• Practical knowledge of enterprise observability, logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerting.
• Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure and application issues.
