Consulting Point is partnering with a rapidly growing global strategy consultancy seeking to appoint an experienced Partner to help expand its Strategy and Private Equity practice in India. The firm advises leading private equity funds, portfolio companies and corporates across the investment lifecycle, with a focus on commercial due diligence, growth strategy, operational improvement, AI/Digital transformation and post-acquisition value creation. With a strong reputation for delivering high-impact strategic advisory work, the firm offers an attractive alternative to traditional consulting models, combining ambitious growth plans with a more sustainable working environment. This includes hybrid working (typically two days in the office and three days remotely) and limited client travel. Key Requirements Private Equity Advisory Experience
• Minimum 10 years' experience within a leading strategy consultancy, such as McKinsey, BCG or Bain, or a specialist private equity advisory firm.
• Strong track record in commercial and operational due diligence, portfolio value creation, growth strategy, tech modernization (AI, digital, cyber, cloud, architecture), market entry and post-acquisition transformation.
• Currently operating at Partner level, with established private equity relationships and a strong understanding of the investment lifecycle. Commercial Leadership & Business Development
• Demonstrable success in originating, pitching, pricing, securing and delivering consulting engagements.
• Ideally generating US$2–5 million in annual personal consulting sales.
• Established relationships with Indian base corporations, private equity funds, investment professionals and portfolio company leadership teams.
• Ability to develop new client relationships, identify opportunities and build a sustainable pipeline of advisory work.



Strategic & Delivery Expertise
• Proven ability to lead complex, high-value consulting engagements and manage senior client stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgement, structured problem-solving and investment thesis development capabilities.
• Experience translating strategic insights into practical recommendations that accelerate growth, improve operational performance and create measurable portfolio value.
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing consulting teams while contributing to the continued expansion of the practice.
