Role Description This is a full-time, in office Merchandiser (Leather) role based in Gurugram. The Merchandiser will manage end-to-end leather product development, including sampling, costing, and coordination with vendors and internal teams. Daily responsibilities include tracking orders, monitoring production status, ensuring quality standards, and aligning delivery timelines with client requirements. The role involves frequent communication with buyers, preparing product presentations, and supporting pricing and negotiation activities. The Merchandiser will also collaborate with design, sourcing,



and quality teams to optimize collections and maintain competitive market positioning. Qualifications and Duties
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with buyers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Demonstrated ability in Sales and Retail environments, preferably in leather goods or fashion accessories.
• Knowledge of Marketing practices to support product positioning, presentations, and client pitches.
• Experience in merchandising or sourcing, with a focus on leather products, materials, and production processes.
• Ability to manage multiple orders, timelines, and stakeholders with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic data/reporting tools for order tracking and communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile/Leather Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a buying House
• Must have the ability and be comfortable to travel to factories for smooth operation and order
