Onsite – Chakan / Baner, Pune, Maharashtra, India Employment Type: Contract Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) Consultant with solid hands-on configuration and integration experience across SAP TM, Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and Materials Management–Inventory Management (MM-IM). The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing end-to-end transportation and logistics solutions, integrating SAP S/4HANA with external transportation platforms such as Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

Key Responsibilities
• Solution Design: Design end-to-end logistics solutions covering transportation planning, warehouse execution, carrier management, and external logistics networks.
• SAP TM Configuration: Configure Freight Units, Freight Orders, planning profiles, carrier selection, charge management, and freight settlement.
• SAP TM–EWM/IM Integration: Configure and support integration between SAP TM, SAP EWM, and MM-IM for delivery processing, warehouse staging, loading, shipping notifications, and goods movement.
• External System Integration: Design, maintain, and troubleshoot interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) or third-party logistics platforms.
• Interface Development: Work with SAP CPI, EDI, ALE/IDoc, APIs,



and web services to enable reliable system-to-system communication.
• Logistics Process Integration: Support delivery creation, goods issue, shipment tracking, cross-docking, and inbound/outbound transportation workflows.
• Freight and Cost Management: Support freight charge calculation, freight settlement, and freight cost distribution processes.
• Testing and Deployment: Lead functional and end-to-end integration testing across SAP modules and external systems.
• Production Support: Troubleshoot integration issues, resolve defects, and provide deployment and hypercare support.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users, SAP functional and technical teams, carriers, and external integration partners. Required Skills and Qualifications
• 4–6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) configuration, either embedded or standalone.
• Strong functional and technical understanding of SAP TM integration with SAP EWM and MM-IM.
• Proven experience integrating SAP TM with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) or third-party logistics (3PL) platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), IDocs, ALE, web services, APIs, and EDI.
• Familiarity with EDI transaction sets such as 204 (Motor Carrier Load Tender), 214 (Transportation Carrier Shipment Status), and 856 (Advance Ship Notice).
• Strong understanding of inbound and outbound logistics, transportation planning, multi-modal shipping, and freight cost distribution.
• Experience in integration testing, issue resolution, deployment, and hypercare support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
