Role Description The Area Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vijayawada. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key customers, and expanding the company’s market presence in the assigned area. Day-to-day activities include meeting prospective and existing clients, presenting service offerings, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with operations teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction. The manager will monitor regional performance, analyze sales data, prepare reports, and implement local marketing and growth initiatives. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to align pricing, service capabilities, and customer requirements is a key part of the role.



Qualifications
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management, ideally in logistics, courier, or related service industries.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills to engage and retain business clients in the region.
• Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and competitor activity, and to develop practical growth strategies for the area.
• Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain service offerings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, visits, and initiatives simultaneously.
• Comfort with basic business software (e.g., CRM tools, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software) to manage pipelines and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area and work on-site in Vijayawada as required by business needs.
