Role Description This is a full-time, on site role based at the Katwa location, with core responsibilities focused on godown management and transit point operations, . The Godown Manager / Transit Point Operator will oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching cement, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring proper documentation. The role involves coordinating with transporters and drivers, planning vehicle loading and unloading, and monitoring the movement of goods to and from the transit point to prevent delays. The individual will implement safety and housekeeping standards within the godown, verify stock against records, and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.



Regular communication with clients, company management, and on-ground staff is required to ensure smooth operations, compliance with company procedures, and efficient handling of logistics issues. Qualifications
• Strong skills in inventory management, record-keeping, and basic documentation for goods receipt, dispatch, and stock reconciliation.
• Operational skills in warehouse/godown handling, vehicle loading and unloading coordination, and transit point supervision.
• Ability to use basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, email) and, preferably, simple inventory or logistics software.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities for working with drivers, staff, clients, and management.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics processes, especially in cement or bulk goods handling, is an advantage.
• Previous experience in warehouse, godown, or logistics operations is preferred; candidates with strong related experience will also be considered.
• Minimum educational qualification of higher secondary or equivalent; a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is beneficial.
