About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Lead Engineer who still loves to code and is ready to lead. You will own the technical delivery of a project, lead a team of 15–20 engineers, and make day-to-day design decisions. You'll work closely with our CTO and directly with clients. The role sits one level below a Technical Architect and is a clear path towards it. Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 15–20 engineers and own the delivery of their work
- Write code for the most complex parts of the system and set the standard for quality
- Design features and services, and make sound technical choices for your project
- Review code, mentor engineers and help them grow




- Work with clients and internal stakeholders to turn requirements into a technical plan
- Build with AI: use AI coding tools daily and bring LLM and agent features into our products
- Keep systems reliable, secure and rapid in production Requirements (Must-Have)
- 4–7 years of hands-on software development, with at least 1 year leading or mentoring engineers
- Strong hands-on skills in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and Python
- Hands-on with GenAI and agentic AI: LLMs, RAG, AI agents and AI/ML
- Experience designing APIs, microservices and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and GCP), CI/CD and containers
