Role Description The Video Editor role at MarkCos Agency is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Video Editor will work closely with the creative and marketing teams to edit video content for campaigns, social media, ads, and branding projects. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting and cutting clips, adding transitions, refining audio, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and campaign goals. The role also involves basic color correction, integrating motion graphics, and collaborating on storyboarding and visual concepts. The Video Editor will manage multiple projects, meet deadlines,



and maintain a consistent quality standard across all video deliverables. Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in Video Production and planning visual narratives for marketing and branding content.
• Strong proficiency in Video Editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
• Ability in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of projects.
• Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements, overlays, and animated assets.
• Attention to detail, strong sense of timing and pacing, and ability to follow creative briefs and brand guidelines.
• Comfort working in a team-oriented, on-site environment in Kolkata, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects.
• Prior experience in an agency or marketing environment is beneficial; formal training or a degree in film, media, design, or a related field is an advantage.
