As per company requirements Application Email: [email protected] Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior Engineer – Embedded Firmware to develop, integrate, debug, and validate firmware for aerospace and defence electronic systems. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in embedded C/C++, microcontroller programming, real-time operating systems, device drivers, and low-level hardware interfacing.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for aerospace and defence applications.
• Develop firmware using Embedded C/C++ for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
• Implement device drivers, peripheral interfaces, and low-level hardware control functions.
• Work with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and RS-422/RS-485.
• Develop and debug firmware for sensors, data acquisition systems, control units, and electronic subsystems.
• Work with RTOS-based systems, task scheduling, interrupt handling, and real-time processing.
• Perform firmware integration, debugging, unit testing, and system-level validation.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems engineering, and testing teams to resolve integration issues.
• Use debugging tools such as JTAG/SWD debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Prepare firmware architecture documents, design specifications, test cases,



and technical reports.
• Support firmware verification, regression testing, and hardware qualification activities.
• Follow applicable aerospace and defence development, quality, configuration-management, and documentation standards. Required Skills
• Strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and embedded processors.
• Knowledge of RTOS concepts, preferably FreeRTOS or an equivalent platform.
• Understanding of interrupts, timers, DMA, memory management, and peripheral drivers.
• Experience with hardware-software integration and debugging.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of embedded debugging and testing methodologies. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in aerospace, avionics, defence electronics, or mission-critical embedded systems.
• Exposure to ARM Cortex-M/Cortex-R processors or other relevant embedded platforms.
• Familiarity with DO-178C, where applicable to airborne software development.
• Knowledge of communication stacks, bootloaders, firmware updates, and fault handling.
• Experience with FPGA interfacing or safety-critical firmware is an advantage. Ideal Candidate ProfileCandidates with hands-on experience in embedded firmware development for avionics, flight-control electronics, navigation systems, defence electronics, or other high-reliability embedded applications will be preferred.
