Role Description The Sand Mining Engineer Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing engineering activities and operational planning for sand mining projects. This role includes developing and implementing mine plans, supervising daily extraction operations, and ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The manager will coordinate with geologists, site supervisors, and equipment operators to optimize production, manage resource utilization, and troubleshoot operational issues. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing production data, preparing technical reports, reviewing engineering designs, and contributing to budgeting and cost control. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers,



leading technical reviews, and collaborating with senior leadership on project timelines and strategic initiatives. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Mining Engineering with practical experience in open-pit, sand, or related mineral extraction operations.
• Mine Planning skills, including designing layouts, scheduling production, and optimizing resource recovery.
• Analytical Skills to interpret geological, production, and cost data and make data-driven operational decisions.
• Exposure to Coal or Coal Mining operations is beneficial, particularly in applying best practices to sand mining environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mining Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in managing on-site mining teams, with a focus on safety, compliance, and performance improvement.
• Knowledge of local mining regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety requirements in India.
• Ability to use mining design and modeling software, and proficiency with standard office and reporting tools.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and train junior staff.
