We are looking for a strategic, detail-oriented, and result-driven Senior Operations Manager to lead end-to-end operations for our premium gemstone, diamond, and Rudraksha business. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of process discipline, inventory control, vendor management, and team leadership to ensure every product that reaches our customers is authentic, accurately documented, securely handled, and delivered on time. This role plays a critical part in protecting product integrity, improving operational efficiency, and building scalable systems, working closely with sales, e-commerce, marketing, finance, and customer service teams to support the company's rapid growth in the spiritual wellness sector. End-to-End Operations Management
• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient business functioning.
• Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs across all operational departments.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
• Ensure operations stay aligned with company policies, business objectives, and deadlines. Gemstone Inventory Management
• Manage inventory of precious and semi-precious gemstones, loose stones, Rudraksha, and related products.
• Maintain accurate stock records, categorisation, identification, and movement tracking.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
• Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and high-value inventory.
• Establish controls to minimise discrepancies, loss, damage, and unauthorised movement.
• Coordinate stock availability with sales and e-commerce teams to avoid order cancellations. Procurement & Vendor Coordination
• Coordinate with gemstone suppliers and vendors to ensure timely product availability.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, supplier performance, and procurement documentation.
• Support vendor evaluation on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure procurement follows approved budgets and authorisation procedures.
• Build strong vendor relationships while identifying cost-optimisation opportunities. Quality Control & Documentation
• Establish quality-check procedures for incoming and outgoing products.
• Verify gemstone type, dimensions, carat weight, colour, treatment disclosures, and certification details.
• Ensure product descriptions and documentation match the physical inventory.
• Coordinate with gemologists, laboratories, or authorised experts for verification (including X-Ray/CT verification of Rudraksha, where applicable).
• Maintain traceability and documentation for high-value transactions.
• Ensure accurate handling, secure storage, packaging, and dispatch. Order Processing & Logistics
• Supervise order processing, packing, dispatch, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and within committed timelines.
• Coordinate with courier and logistics partners to resolve delivery issues.
• Establish procedures for returns, exchanges, refunds, and damaged shipments.
• Monitor fulfilment performance and act to reduce delays and errors. Team Management & Performance Tracking
• Lead, supervise, and coach the operations team to achieve departmental targets.
• Allocate responsibilities,



set performance expectations, and monitor productivity.
• Conduct regular team reviews and identify training needs.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, discipline, and continuous improvement. Process Improvement & Cost Control
• Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs without compromising quality or customer experience.
• Improve turnaround times, resource utilisation, inventory accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
• Build operational dashboards and reporting systems for management review.
• Implement internal controls to minimise errors, wastage, and avoidable expenses.
• Drive automation and technology adoption in inventory, order management, and reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
• Work with sales and e-commerce teams to ensure product availability and timely fulfilment.
• Coordinate with finance on purchase documentation, stock valuation inputs, and expense tracking.
• Collaborate with customer service to resolve order-related complaints and delivery issues.
• Present regular operational updates, performance reports, and recommendations to senior management. Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
• 5–8 years of experience in operations management, inventory control, supply chain, or business operations, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience managing teams, vendors, inventory, logistics, and operational processes.
• Working knowledge of ERP, inventory management systems, order management software, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound operational decisions.
• Strong attention to detail when handling high-value, individually identifiable products.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Preferred
• Experience in gemstones, jewellery, precious stones, luxury products, or high-value inventory management.
• Experience handling valuable or fragile products with serial-level traceability.
• Understanding of risk management and internal controls.
