Role Description The Senior Architect role at APICES Studio is a full-time, in office position based in Thane. This role involves leading architectural design from concept through completion, including developing design proposals, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating with structural, MEP, and other consultants. The Senior Architect oversees project workflows, supports design reviews, ensures compliance with applicable codes and standards, and guides junior team members. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders, resolving design and technical issues, managing project documentation, and monitoring progress against timelines and quality benchmarks. The role requires active participation in site visits, coordination meetings, and construction oversight to ensure design intent is maintained.



Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience in concept development, space planning, and detailed design for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Experience with Integration and coordination across disciplines, including structural, MEP, and specialized systems, ensuring cohesive and buildable solutions.
• Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication for multiple concurrent projects.
• Familiarity with Software Development and digital workflows related to architecture, such as BIM platforms, CAD tools, and design collaboration systems.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent BIM software, and visualization tools).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional registration or licensure is an advantage.
• Proven experience in leading project teams, mentoring junior architects, and presenting design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work on-site in Thane and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
