Role Description The UK Year-end Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, focused on preparing and finalizing year-end accounts for UK-based clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing client bookkeeping records, reconciling ledgers, preparing statutory accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant UK accounting and tax regulations. The role involves working with accounting software commonly used in the UK, coordinating with client teams to clarify queries, and managing deadlines for year-end reporting and filing. The accountant will also support VAT and tax-related adjustments, contribute to process improvements,



and maintain accurate documentation for audit and review purposes. Collaboration with internal colleagues and clear communication with external stakeholders are essential parts of the role. Qualifications
• Strong technical accounting skills, including preparation of year-end financial statements for UK entities and familiarity with UK GAAP and basic UK tax concepts.
• Proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar platforms) and comfort working with multiple systems as required by clients.
• Solid analytical and reconciliation skills, with the ability to review ledgers, identify discrepancies, and propose accurate adjustments within agreed timelines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with international clients and internal teams, including clear written documentation and professional email etiquette.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple client engagements, prioritize tasks, and meet strict filing and reporting deadlines.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in UK accounting or working with UK or international outsourcing/accounting firms is highly beneficial.
