Social Media Manager Marketing | Brand | Growth | Strategy & Hands-on Execution

Location:
BTM 2nd Stage, Bengaluru

Experience:
4–8 years Work Model: 5 days, work from office Compensation: ₹7–10 LPA (including approximately 20–30% variable pay)

About the Role
Edstellar is expanding its global presence in Capability Transformation, Corporate Training, and Learning & Development (L&D;). We are looking for a strategic, creative, analytical, and hands-on Social Media Manager to grow our brand, strengthen enterprise credibility, build executive thought leadership, engage relevant audiences, and support demand generation. This is not a strategy-only role. You will set the direction and personally research, write, create, publish, engage, experiment, and analyze. You should be comfortable building a 12-month strategy and deciding what to post tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Planning
• Own the end-to-end social media strategy and create annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans.
• Define content pillars, editorial themes, audience growth, executive thought leadership, and distribution approaches aligned with brand and business goals.
• Manage a proactive editorial calendar covering industry moments, campaigns, and global events.
• Build a culture of testing and improvement: Hypothesis → Test → Measure → Learn → Improve → Scale. 2. Platform Management & Audience Development LinkedIn is our primary platform. You will also manage relevant activities across Instagram, X, YouTube, Quora, and Reddit, adapting content to each platform rather than copying the same post everywhere.
• LinkedIn: B2B credibility, thought leadership, and enterprise engagement.
• Instagram and YouTube: Brand storytelling, short-form videos, and educational content.
• X: Timely participation in industry discussions.
• Quora: Helpful, high-intent expert answers.
• Reddit: Authentic, community-led conversations. Understand our audiences—CHROs, CLOs, L&D; and Talent Development leaders, HR and transformation leaders, business decision-makers, and enterprise-learning buyers—and create content that addresses their priorities. 3. Content Creation & Execution
• Research trends, reports, audience questions, and conversations worth joining.
• Personally write posts, hooks, captions, executive content, and content briefs.
• Create carousels, basic graphics, infographics, polls, case studies, research-led insights, and industry commentary.
• Produce platform-native X threads, Quora answers, appropriate Reddit contributions, and Instagram/YouTube content.
• Publish, engage, distribute, repurpose winning ideas, and improve underperforming content.
• Test formats, creative styles, timing, post length, calls to action, and recurring content series. 4. Executive Thought Leadership & Video
• Work with the CEO and leadership team to turn real business experiences and insights into authentic thought leadership.

• Preserve each leader's natural voice instead of creating overly promotional corporate messaging.
• Use AI-powered content and video tools for ideation, scripting, assets, editing, and repurposing.
• Independently shoot and edit simple, professional short-form videos. This is a significant requirement and a strong advantage. 5. Industry Awareness & Community
• Track global developments in corporate L&D;, Capability Transformation, AI/GenAI, AI in learning, workforce transformation, leadership development, skills intelligence, HRTech, EdTech, coaching, and the future of work.
• Identify when Edstellar should contribute an original viewpoint, join a relevant discussion, or avoid an unrelated trend.
• Build relationships with industry practitioners, customers, prospects, and professional communities. Treat publishing as the start of distribution, not the end. 6. Analytics & Growth
• Track relevant follower growth, organic reach, engagement quality, target-audience composition, executive visibility, website traffic, inbound inquiries, and content-assisted opportunities where measurable.
• Review results regularly: what worked, what did not, why, and what to change or test next.
• Focus on meaningful brand and business outcomes, not vanity metrics. What Success Looks Like
• A distinctive, recognizable Edstellar social voice and stronger visibility in global L&D; conversations.
• Consistent growth in relevant organic reach and enterprise-audience engagement.
• Credible executive thought leadership and proactive participation in industry discussions.
• Repeatable winning content formats, meaningful communities, and stronger brand equity.
• A disciplined system for content creation, distribution, experimentation, and measurement that supports inbound opportunities. Required Skills & Qualifications
• 4–8 years of relevant experience with substantial B2B social media responsibility.
• Proven ability to grow a business, brand, or executive social presence, supported by a portfolio or case studies with measurable outcomes.
• Strong LinkedIn expertise across company pages and/or senior executive profiles, plus working knowledge of Instagram, X, YouTube, Quora, and Reddit.
• Exceptional English writing and editing skills, compelling storytelling, and an understanding of enterprise buyers.
• Strong research instincts, global industry awareness, sound content judgment, and the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Practical experience researching, writing, designing, publishing, engaging, and analyzing—not only directing others.
• Analytical skills to distinguish business impact from vanity metrics.
• Familiarity with Canva,

AI content/video tools, and up-to-date social media platforms; independent short-form video shooting and editing strongly preferred.
• High ownership, creativity, self-motivation, adaptability, and comfort with direct feedback and ambiguity. Preferred Background Global social media exposure—international audiences, multiple geographies, or global leadership teams—is strongly preferred. Experience in B2B, corporate training, L&D;, HRTech, EdTech, enterprise SaaS, consulting, or professional services is valuable, but prior L&D; experience is not mandatory. Practical capability and results matter more than academic credentials. Proof of Work Matters We strongly prefer candidates who have materially scaled a company's or executive's social presence. Show us where an account started, the challenge, what you personally executed, the experiments you ran, and measurable outcomes. Simply stating that you “managed LinkedIn” is not enough. Additional Brand Responsibilities Edstellar is the primary focus, but you may occasionally support sister entities such as Invensis Learning. Each brand must retain its distinct audience, voice, and content approach. Reporting & Working Style You will report to the Director – Strategy, with dotted-line reporting to the CEO. This is a five-day work-from-office role based in BTM 2nd Stage, Bengaluru. Occasional flexibility may be required for global events or stakeholder conversations outside standard India

working hours
. Selection Process
• Application review: Resume, LinkedIn profile, cover note, and portfolio.
• HR screening: Experience, motivation, compensation, notice period, and fit.
• Strategy & execution interview: Approximately 30 minutes with the Associate Director – Strategy, covering B2B thinking, LinkedIn, content judgment, hands-on work, and growth stories.
• Practical assignment: A reasonably scoped exercise on strategy, research, writing, ideation, platform selection, distribution, and creativity.
• CEO interview: Strategic alignment, ownership, business understanding, communication, and leadership collaboration. The process assesses how you think and execute, not just your resume. About Edstellar Edstellar is a global Capability Transformation partner helping organizations identify workforce skill gaps and close them through a hyper-customized ecosystem of consulting, assessments, technology, training, coaching, and other capability-building interventions. How to Apply

Include at least one proof-of-work example covering the starting point, challenge, your actions, experiments, and measurable results. Application Question: Name one B2B company or executive whose social media presence you admire. What are they doing well, and what would you borrow—or avoid—from their approach?
