Job Summary We are seeking a Production & Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives in our building materials business in India. The role focuses on optimizing production processes, improving operational efficiency, maintaining product quality, and ensuring safe and reliable manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on manufacturing experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Production Operations & Process Optimization
• Monitor and optimize daily production processes to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and achievement of production targets.
• Analyze production performance, identify process bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational losses.
• Support production planning and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure effective utilization of equipment, materials, and resources.
• Troubleshoot production and process-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain stable manufacturing operations. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing costs.
• Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis to improve overall operational performance.
• Monitor key production indicators, including output, yield, downtime, material consumption, and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable process improvements. Quality, Safety & Process Control
• Monitor critical process parameters and ensure compliance with established production standards and product specifications.




• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to investigate product defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
• Support the development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process control practices. Technical Support & Cross-functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and improve equipment and process reliability.
• Support process trials, production improvements, and the introduction of new products or manufacturing technologies.
• Analyze production data and prepare technical reports, performance summaries, and recommendations for management.
• Coordinate with relevant local and regional stakeholders to share technical knowledge and support operational improvement initiatives. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in production engineering, process engineering, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in building materials, cement, concrete products, AAC blocks, precast concrete, or related manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes,



production planning, process control, and operational improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production-related issues.
• Familiarity with production KPIs, quality control practices, and industrial safety standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work on-site in Gujarat, India. Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience in AAC blocks, AAC panels, cement-based products, or similar building materials manufacturing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, process automation, and production monitoring systems.
• Experience in process improvement, cost reduction, energy efficiency, or waste minimization projects.
• Experience working in multinational organizations or collaborating with international technical teams.
