- Incident Response with approximately 3 years of hands-on experience in IT Security Incident Response to oversee and lead a 24/7 Incident Response Desk. In this role, you will lead a team of shift-based IR Analysts, coordinate major incident lifecycles end-to-end, validate Root Cause Analyses (RCA), and ensure post-incident remediations are successfully tracked and executed.

Key Responsibilities
• 24/7 IR Desk Leadership & Shift Operations:
• Lead and mentor a team of Incident Response Analysts operating in a 24/7 shift setting.
• Manage shift allocations, duty rosters, and resource coverage to ensure continuous operational readiness.
• Incident Command & Response Coordination:
• Direct and coordinate all tasks within the incident response effort from initial reporting through final resolution.
• Provide timely and clear status updates to internal responders, management,



business stakeholders, and impacted customers throughout active security events.
• Technical Guidance & Analysis Oversight:
• Provide technical direction and guidance to analysts performing log analysis, threat hunting, and digital forensics during complex security incidents.
• Review and validate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports submitted by cross-functional technical teams (Infrastructure, Application, Network, and Security).
• Drive active follow-ups with relevant teams to ensure planned remediation actions and preventive controls are implemented in a timely manner.
• Post-Incident Governance & Handover:
• Hand off resolved security incidents to the postmortem phase, leading post-incident reviews (PIR) to capture lessons learned.
• Refine incident response playbooks, notification matrices, and operational workflows. Qualifications & Key

Skills:

Experience:
Around 3 years of experience in IT Security, Incident Response, or SOC operations.
• Team Leadership & Shift Management: Ability to lead a team of analysts, manage shift rosters, and direct incident response efforts during critical events.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Good understanding of log analysis, SIEM tools, network activity, and endpoint security (EDR), etc.
• Solid knowledge of digital forensics and log analysis to guide and support analysts during investigations.
• ITIL certification is a big plus.
• Security certifications (like GCIH, ECIH, CEH) are good to have.
• RCA & Remediation: Ability to review Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports from technical teams and follow up to ensure fixes are completed.
• Certifications:
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical details clearly to both technical teams and executive stakeholders during high-severity incidents.
