About the Role
We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to lead indirect procurement across the organization. The role will drive strategic sourcing, cost optimization, supplier performance, and procurement governance while ensuring timely delivery, quality, and uninterrupted support to business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end procurement across Marketing, IT, HR, Administration, Facilities, Travel, Logistics, Engineering Services, CAPEX, and Professional Services.
• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities and budgets.
• Manage RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization.
• Deliver sustainable cost savings through spend analysis, supplier consolidation, strategic negotiations, and process improvements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, define service expectations, and ensure timely procurement.
• Develop the supplier base, conduct vendor performance reviews,
and mitigate supply and service risks.
• Manage contracts, renewals, and service-level agreements, ensuring compliance with agreed commercial terms.
• Support business expansion, new plant setups, and CAPEX projects through effective sourcing and procurement planning.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
• Drive procurement digitization and process standardization across locations.
• Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, payment resolution, spend reporting, and procurement governance. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement, or Finance preferred.
• 8–12 years of procurement experience, with substantial exposure to indirect categories.
• Experience in FMCG, AlcoBev, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Pharma, or similar industries preferred.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, contract management, and vendor development.
• Experience in CAPEX and services procurement.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERP platforms.
• Skilled certifications such as CPSM or CIPS will be an added advantage. Key Competencies
