Role Description The Accounts Assistant role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai, with an expected joining date within 7 days. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. Responsibilities include handling petty cash, assisting with credit control and outstanding payment follow-ups, preparing basic financial reports, and supporting invoice processing and bank reconciliations.



The Accounts Assistant will collaborate with the finance and operations teams, respond to internal and external queries, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Qualifications
• Strong accounting and finance skills, including experience with bookkeeping, ledgers, and basic financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with credit control and petty cash management, including tracking, reconciliation, and documentation.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors in a clear and professional manner.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel), with attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced logistics and freight environment.
• Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a similar industry is an advantage.
