About the Role
HYPD Consulting is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated US Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our growing team in New Delhi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and a solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles. You will work on accounting and bookkeeping assignments for US-based clients, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reconciliations, and reliable financial reporting. Please note: This is a 100% on-site position at our Janak Puri, New Delhi office, with

working hours
aligned with US business hours. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are NOT available.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform day-to-day bookkeeping for US-based clients.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Perform bank, credit card, and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Record and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and supporting schedules.
• Review financial transactions to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
• Assist with financial reporting and other accounting-related assignments.




• Communicate with internal team members to resolve accounting discrepancies and meet client deadlines. Required Qualifications & Skills
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience working with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or US accounting.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Practical experience with bank reconciliations, transaction categorization, and financial reporting.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client assignments. Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience working with US-based clients or accounting firms.
• Familiarity with US accounting practices and financial statements.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing.
• Exposure to other accounting platforms, such as Xero or Zoho Books.
