Pune (Kharadi) Work Mode: Work From Office (5 Days) Employment Type: Full-Time Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred Role Overview Dapton Technologies is looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to build AI-powered systems that improve software development, QA automation, project management, and business operations. You will design and implement AI harnesses, coding-agent workflows, intelligent automation, and internal AI applications that help our teams work faster, reduce repetitive tasks, and deliver higher-quality software. This role is focused on applying AI to real-world engineering and business problems, taking solutions from concept to production, and continuously improving how we build software and operate as a company.

Key Responsibilities
• AI Harness & Coding Agents: Set up and optimize AI development environments using Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and other AI coding tools. Build reusable agent configurations, skills, hooks, tools, and workflows.
• AI-Powered Development: Build agents to analyze codebases, implement features, debug issues, review code, generate documentation, and automate repetitive development tasks.
• QA & Testing Automation: Use AI to generate test cases, automate regression testing, analyze test failures, identify bugs, and improve test coverage using tools such as Playwright.
• AI for Project Management: Integrate AI with Jira, Asana, GitHub, and other tools to automate task creation, sprint reporting, progress tracking, release notes, and delivery-risk identification.
• Business Operations Automation:



Identify manual workflows across the company and build AI-powered systems to automate reporting, document processing, data analysis, and operational tasks.
• AI Agents & Integrations: Develop agents that interact with APIs, databases, internal applications, and third-party services using tool calling, MCP, and workflow orchestration.
• AI Infrastructure & Reliability: Implement evaluation, monitoring, access controls, error handling, and security measures to ensure AI systems are reliable, cost-effective, and production-ready.
• Continuous Improvement: Explore emerging AI technologies, identify automation opportunities, and measure improvements in productivity, software quality, and operational efficiency. Required Skills
• Robust programming skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with FastAPI, Node.js, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs such as OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or open-source models.
• Experience building AI agents and workflows using tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, or equivalent frameworks.
• Understanding of AI harness engineering, tool calling, context management, structured outputs, and agent execution workflows.




• Experience integrating AI with APIs, databases, Git repositories, and third-party applications.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Pytest.
• Familiarity with MCP, workflow automation tools such as n8n, and integrations with Jira, Asana, or GitHub.
• Understanding of Git, Docker, CI/CD, cloud deployment, and production debugging.
• Ability to build reliable applications with proper validation, error handling, security, and monitoring. Prefered Qualification
• Experience implementing AI coding agents or AI-assisted software development workflows.
• Experience automating QA, code reviews, project management, or business operations using AI.
• Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, AI evaluation, observability, and agent orchestration.
• Experience deploying AI-powered applications in production.
• A portfolio of working AI projects, automation tools, or relevant GitHub repositories. What We're Looking For
