As a QA Tester at InstaAstro, you’ll help ensure software changes work as intended by designing practical tests, finding defects early, and collaborating with developers to improve release confidence.

Key Responsibilities
• Review requirements and workflows with the team, identify test scenarios, and document clear, reproducible cases for new and changed functionality.
• Perform exploratory and regression testing, record results, and report defects with steps to reproduce, expected and actual behavior, and helpful evidence.
• Write and maintain automated tests in Python with PyTest, choosing cases that provide reliable coverage and are straightforward to troubleshoot.
• Use Appium to automate mobile app tests across key workflows, investigate failures, and keep test scripts aligned with app changes.
• Test APIs for expected responses, data handling, and error behavior, and share findings with developers to help resolve issues.
• Use Git to manage test code and review changes,



and contribute automated checks to CI/CD pipelines so defects can be detected earlier.
• Track test outcomes and recurring failures, help identify gaps in coverage, and refine automation to make the team’s testing process more dependable.
