– Manager, Controllership

Experience:
3–5 years Core Skill: Controllership Job Purpose The Manager – Controllership will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and audit activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure all financial and accounting operations comply with Ind AS, IGAAP, and IFRS. Develop and implement local accounting policies, SOPs, and procedures as required.
• Manage monthly financial closing activities accurately and on time, including balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to the management team.
• Oversee the general ledger function and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Conduct business risk assessments and financial analysis to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process optimization and automation.
• Support the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns by providing the required financial information.




• Review and strengthen internal financial controls to ensure compliance and minimize financial risks.
• Manage end-to-end financial reporting and audit activities, including statutory audits and group reporting.
• Handle complex ad hoc requests within short timelines, providing relevant analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
• Proactively review financial information, identify discrepancies and inconsistencies, initiate corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution. Desired Candidate Profile
• Solid leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration and drive improvements beyond the finance function.
• In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of Ind AS and IFRS.
• Experience working with Big Four audit firms during statutory audits.
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring internal financial controls.
• Knowledge of Zoho ERP is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Required Soft Skills
