Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Backend-heavy) — Remote, India
· Full-time or Contract We're looking for a backend-strong engineer with 5+ years in Node.js / TypeScript and PostgreSQL, who has shipped B2B SaaS to paying customers and builds daily with AI coding agents like Claude Code. Experience with CRM or workflow products, LLM agents or rules engines is a strong plus. Read the hours first Monday–Saturday, 9 hours a day in two fixed blocks:
• 9:30 am – 1:30 pm IST

What we're building ExpatReady is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that immigration firms use to run their whole practice: leads, consultations, retainers, billing, case delivery, documents and a client portal. Firms trust us with their clients' passports, finances and immigration files, so security and data isolation aren't optional.

What you'll do
You'll own product modules end to end: design the database and API, write the business logic, wire it to existing React screens, and prove it works with tests. You'll work alongside a senior backend architect who reviews your work. Our stack TypeScript everywhere

Expect a codebase with strict, automated rules — tenant isolation, data classification, audit trails and file-size limits — enforced in CI. You must be someone who reads the rules before writing code, and who checks what the AI wrote before merging it.



You must have
• 5+ years of backend engineering in Node.js / TypeScript, shipped to production
• Designed PostgreSQL schemas and migrations used by real customers
• Built multi-tenant or permission-heavy systems (who can see what, and how you guarantee it)
• Written automated tests that caught real bugs
• Used an AI coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or similar) daily on production code in the last 6 months
• Comfortable building React screens to a valuable standard. You don't need to be a designer. Strong plus

• You've only worked on one layer (only frontend, or only APIs someone else designed)
• You've mostly maintained existing code rather than designed new systems
