Role Description The Design Engineer Sector Expert Civil role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing and reviewing detailed civil engineering designs for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design calculations, drawings, and technical reports; coordinating with multidisciplinary teams; supporting feasibility and pre-feasibility studies; and providing technical input during project planning and execution. The role also involves checking and validating CAD outputs, collaborating with project managers and field teams,



and contributing to quality assurance processes and value engineering for highways, bridges, and other civil works. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong civil and design engineering skills, including experience in Design Engineering and familiarity with Product Design principles for infrastructure projects.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and related software used for civil infrastructure design and detailing.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in core engineering disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering as they relate to integrated infrastructure systems.
• Candidates should possess a recognized engineering degree (preferably in Civil Engineering) and relevant experience in highway, bridge, or related infrastructure design.
• Candidates should possess solid analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, along with the ability to interpret codes, standards, and technical specifications.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage deadlines.
• Experience with infrastructure project cycles (pre-feasibility, feasibility, detailed design, and project management) and knowledge of national and international standards will be beneficial.
