Role Description The Sr. Backend Gen AI Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. In this role, the developer designs, builds, and maintains backend systems that power Generative AI applications, including APIs, microservices, and data pipelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and optimizing AI models, integrating neural network and NLP components into production systems, and ensuring performance, reliability, and security of backend services. The developer collaborates closely with data scientists, product managers, and frontend teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, improving existing architectures, and contributing to best practices, documentation,



and code reviews. Qualifications
• Solid foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, with experience in building scalable backend services and APIs.
• Hands-on expertise in Neural Networks and Natural Language Processing (NLP) for designing, fine-tuning, and deploying Generative AI models.
• Demonstrated ability in Pattern Recognition, including model evaluation, feature engineering, and optimization for real-world use cases.
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (such as Python, Java, or Node.js) and familiarity with frameworks commonly used for AI-driven applications.
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), message queues, and microservices architectures, as well as containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD practices for deploying and managing AI services in production environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work cross-functionally, and attention to code quality, security, and performance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in backend and AI development.
