At Wood Be Done, we create thoughtfully designed, detail-driven residential interiors that balance aesthetics, functionality, and craftsmanship. As we continue to grow our premium turnkey interior design practice, we’re looking for a Senior Interior Designer with exceptional design sensibility, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to independently lead projects from concept to execution. We’re not looking for someone who simply puts together layouts and renders. We’re looking for a designer who can think creatively, develop distinctive concepts, make confident design decisions, and take complete ownership of the design process.

Key Responsibilities
• Independently lead high-end residential interior design projects from concept development through execution and handover.
• Develop distinctive design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, furniture selections, and detailed design presentations.
• Create and review space plans, 3D visualisations, detailed working drawings, and material specifications.
• Present design concepts confidently to clients, understand their requirements, and translate feedback into thoughtful design solutions.
• Ensure design consistency, proportion, material harmony, and attention to detail across every space.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure accurate design implementation.
• Review technical drawings, modular furniture details, finishes, and execution feasibility before production.




• Mentor junior designers, review their work, and maintain high design standards.
• Take ownership of design timelines, deliverables, client communication, and approvals. What We’re Looking For

Experience:
5–8+ years in residential interior design, preferably with premium or luxury projects.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating original design thinking, refined aesthetics, and successfully executed projects.
• Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, furniture detailing, modular systems, and execution techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and relevant 3D visualisation and presentation software.
• Strong communication, client presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects without compromising design quality.
• A keen eye for proportions, colours, textures, lighting, and styling.
• A proactive mindset with accountability, leadership, and attention to detail.
