Role Description The Technical Service Engineer – Battery Installation is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Coimbatore Area. This role involves performing battery installation and commissioning, inspecting system components, and ensuring installations comply with safety and technical standards. The engineer will provide technical support at customer sites, diagnose and troubleshoot battery and system issues, and coordinate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex problems. Daily responsibilities include documenting service activities, preparing reports, guiding customers on proper usage and maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement of installation processes and service quality. Qualifications




• Strong Technical Services and Technical Support skills, with hands-on experience in battery or electrical system installation and commissioning.
• Effective Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills to diagnose faults, assess root causes, and implement practical corrective actions.
• Explicit and professional Communication skills to interact with customers, field teams, and internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards, energy storage systems, and basic battery management systems; experience with Battery Pack or BESS installations is an advantage.
• ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience in technical service roles.
• Ability to work in office in the Greater Coimbatore Area, travel to customer locations across Keralam, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu as and when required, and perform physically demanding installation tasks safely.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, basic test equipment, and standard office software for reporting and documentation.
• Commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, with a focus on safety and adherence to company procedures.
