We are seeking a Senior AI Video Platform Engineer / Technical Lead to take technical ownership of our core generative video production platform. In this role, you will initially partner closely with our developer to dive deep into our existing codebase, diagnose bottlenecks, stabilize end-to-end media generation pipelines, and establish production-grade reliability. Over time, you will transition into the technical lead driving the platform’s architectural roadmap as we expand toward our ambitious B2B enterprise offerings. More critical than familiarity with any single technology is your ability to quickly reason through complex, asynchronous architectures, trace tricky edge cases to their root causes, challenge foundational design decisions, and ship dependable, resilient solutions autonomously.

Key Responsibilities
• Architecture & Stabilization: Perform deep-dive code reviews, audit system health, identify concurrency and failure bottlenecks, and harden the core platform architecture.
• Orchestration & Asynchronous Execution: Build and maintain scalable orchestration workflows for AI agent loops, asynchronous rendering tasks, and distributed worker pipelines.
• Media & Video Processing Pipelines: Own the media rendering stack, asset transcode flows, FFmpeg commands, compositing pipelines, and timeline consistency.
• AI & LLM Integration: Manage model routing, prompt execution pipelines, structured output validation, and fallback mechanisms across heterogeneous LLM and video generation APIs.
• State & Versioning Management: Ensure bulletproof data consistency across mutable timeline states, asset caching layers, and multi-tenant persistence.
• Production Operations & Rigor: Establish comprehensive unit, integration, and E2E testing suites, implement detailed observability, and optimize latency and compute costs across cloud infrastructure.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical standard-bearer, mentoring engineers,



driving architectural RFCs, and establishing the foundational engineering practices needed for enterprise-grade B2B scale. Core Qualifications & Experience
• Full-Stack Fluency: Proven production experience across both back-end and front-end architectures using Python, TypeScript / Node.js, and contemporary React.
• Distributed Systems & Workers: Deep expertise designing resilient, event-driven backends, asynchronous worker systems, background queue workers, and failure-handling strategies.
• Media Engineering: Hands-on experience with FFmpeg, audio/video compositing, frame manipulation, container formats, codecs, and media asset management at scale.
• AI / Agent Orchestration: Practical experience integrating LLMs, multi-step generative workflows, tool calling, and model routing. Direct experience with Temporal or equivalent durable execution engines is strongly preferred.
• Stateful Complex Systems: Experience managing workflow state, artifact versioning, and state synchronization—especially with timeline-based editors (e.g., Twick, Remotion, or custom canvas/timeline renderers).
• Data & Cloud Infrastructure: Strong command of PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS (S3, ECS/EKS, Lambda), Docker, and modern CI/CD automation.
• System Observability & Quality: Proven track record in automated testing (unit, integration, E2E), profiling, performance tuning, and diagnosing distributed failures in live production environments. What Sets You Apart
