Role Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer to support the deployment, validation, and operationalization of a secure, scalable, and production-ready Azure Virtual Desktop environment. This role will focus on AVD platform deployment, image management, application onboarding, production readiness, operational support, and post-deployment stabilization. The engineer will collaborate closely with architecture, infrastructure, security, networking, application, and operations teams to deliver a reliable end-user computing platform.

Key Responsibilities
• Deploy, configure, and administer Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, workspaces, application groups, session hosts, and user assignments.
• Support pooled and personal desktop environments, session management, load balancing, scaling plans, and performance optimization activities.
• Configure and support FSLogix profile containers, profile policies, permissions, storage integration, and profile-related troubleshooting.
• Create, maintain, validate, and optimize Windows desktop images for pilot and production environments.
• Package, install, test, update,



and troubleshoot enterprise applications within the Azure Virtual Desktop workplace.
• Work with application owners to validate installation requirements, compatibility, dependencies, and production readiness.
• Support Azure-based infrastructure components required for Azure Virtual Desktop deployments, including compute, storage, monitoring, governance, and access management.
• Validate network connectivity, DNS resolution, routing, firewall configurations, and application accessibility.
• Configure monitoring and operational visibility using Azure monitoring capabilities and operational health dashboards.
• Perform functional, performance, connectivity, application, profile, login, printing, and user-experience testing.
• Troubleshoot session host availability, user sessions, profiles, images, applications, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Support pilot onboarding, production migration activities, release management, incident triage, problem management, and hypercare stabilization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles. Skills Azure virtual Desktop, Azure Network, FSLogix
