Role Description This is a full-time, in office Accounts Assistant role based in Mumbai, with an expected joining date within 7 days. The Accounts Assistant will support daily accounting operations, including posting entries, maintaining ledgers, handling invoices, and assisting with reconciliations. Responsibilities include managing petty cash transactions, preparing basic financial reports, and supporting credit control activities such as follow-ups for payments and monitoring outstanding balances. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and timelines. Qualifications




• Candidates should possess accounting and finance skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger management, and understanding of financial records.
• Candidates should possess credit control skills, including monitoring receivables, supporting collection efforts, and tracking payment status.
• Candidates should possess petty cash management skills, including recording transactions, maintaining vouchers, and reconciling cash balances.
• Candidates should possess strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal departments, clients, and vendors.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field are preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software will be beneficial.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment are important.
• Prior experience in accounts or finance, especially in logistics or freight forwarding, will be an advantage.
